About Dancing with the Stars
Parents need to know that female dancers wear revealing outfits. There is occasional mild profanity (such as "kick butt"). On a positive note, the dancers are models for young viewers of strength, athleticism, and confidence. Fans can upload their own dance move videos via the show's Web site.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about the stereotypes society has about dancers. This show demonstrates the amount of strength, discipline, hard work, and determination it takes to dance on this level. Families can also discuss the learning that occurs from constructive criticism as demonstrated by the judges. They could also talk about whether or not it's realistic to learn to dance this well in such a short amount of time.

Just fun. My family likes to watch the celebrities try to pull off a tango! Revealing outfits, just normal dancing. Nothing good or bad comes out of it.
