What Parents Need to Know
About Medium
Parents need to know that this show isn't meant for kids. Allison's communication with the dead can be unsettling and scary. Every episode focuses on some sort of violent crime, including rape and murder. The show is also emotionally intense, as Allison must stop criminals from hurting their victims before it's too late. Often Allison's visions and dreams put her in uncomfortable positions, such as finding out others' dark secrets. There's occasional strong language.
