What Parents Need to Know

About "Boom Boom Pow" (CD single)

Parents need to know that, aside from the word s--t appearing throughout the song, the lyrics to this tune are fairly innocuous overall. The sex and partying themes that pervaded the group's last record have been replaced by some light bravado that lacks the seriously aggressive tone of many other hip-hop songs.

    SWEAR ATTACK

this song has lots of swears you don't want your younger kids listening to. But still it's an ok song and is ON for all kids (exsept ones thats say swers a lot) 11 and up.

I rate this title on for age 11 and give it 4.0

Not if you're immature in swearing wise

despite the word sh**t used a bit, unless you look at the lyrics or buy the CD version you can't hear it. Most of the time, it is bleeped out by the dj, or some other sound effect

    lots of sh*t

Off For Ages 10 And Under; Iffy For Ages 11 To 13; On For Ages 14 And Up

Surprisingly, this BEPs song has no racist comments, and there is no sex, but "$#!+" is spat out nine times exactly. Get a clean version or a radio edit or whatever.

  5. I rate this title iffy for age 6 and give it 5.0
    My concerns are:
    • Inappropriate language

If you are 6 you probally already know s_ _ _ so it isnt that bad
