What Parents Need to Know
About Pearl Jam
Parents need to know that there are quite a few images of violence. There are also some strong political and anti-President Bush messages that may upset conservative families.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about the songs' political and social messages, and whether or not they are effective. What do you think about rock stars as activists? What do you think when they use their music to express their views? Are you more likely to be motivated into action -- or annoyed?
