Well, in my opinion, I think that it just got old once they kept making more and more of the Santa Clause movies. The first one wasn't too bad, but the more they made, the more stupid they got. I think , though, that younger kids maybe under 9 or 10 would enjoy this. There's no bad language or anything like that.

About The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause
Parents need to know that kids will probably be eager to see the third tale in this fun, tame holiday movie series. Although it's rated G, there's still plenty of slapstick violence. Jack smacks Scott in the face with a snow shovel, and, in another scene, Jack gets run into and knocked over. That said, Santa's pad at the North Pole is one happy place. There are plenty of magical scenes in this movie that make you believe reindeer really can fly and magic really does exist in the world. And, oh, all those sweet treats!

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about the differences in the way Jack and Scott view Christmas. Scott loves being Santa and bringing joy and magic to people all over the world, while Jack is only in it for his own gain. Does Jack's scheming pay off in the end? And, what is Christmas truly all about? The candy and presents? The magic and joy and spending time with people you love? The religious significance? This is a great opportunity for families to talk about their own holiday traditions and beliefs.

The movies kept getting stupider and stupider
Wow, the first one was pretty good, but the Santa Claus movies got so stupid! The third has become your typical preschool movie with the good guy having a goal (Santa: get toys done) and bad guy who wants to ruin it but promises to be good (Jack Frost) NO STORYLINE pretty much, then in the end... -------PlotSpoilerWarning------- When it looks like the bad guy is going to win, he turns good b/c of the magic hug from the 1st grader -------PlostSpoilerEnding------- In the end, I guess younger children would love it, but if you have an older child (9+) then it might seem EXTREMELY juivenille to them.

good clean fun!
Wholesome mesaage, put others and especially your family before yourself. Enough of a plot with Martin Short as the "Bad guy" to keep even older kids interested.

a good family film!
This would be a really good film but it is really more for kids around 8-10 and it has a slow start. I didnt really enjoy it because I havent believed in santa for a long time.

A divorced Santa?
Should certainly be rated PG. I was very dissappointed in Disney for promoting this as a family movie appropriate for young kids. Not interested in trying to explain the concept of Santa having an x-wife and new "hot blonde" as his new pregnant "Mrs. Clause" who lies to her parents and tries to cover up her marriage to my 4 and 6 year olds.

Cute and Funny for Adults and Kids
This is a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Kids will appreciate the prat falls and funny one-liners, Moms and Dads will appreciate Tim Allen and Martin Short's performances.

My kids, 7 and 10, loved this movie!
I enjoyed it, too, because it wasn't crude or violent. Martin Short is great in it!
