I LOVE this movie, and always have. I let my child watch this from the time she was a little baby, and she continues to love it. By the way, she is 4 years old. There is nothing confusing in this movie to her. There is absolutely nothing inappropriate about this movie. Yes, Lady and Tramp fall in love and have puppies, but get off it, they are DOGS. There are far worse movies out there that should be on this list that is not.

What Parents Need to Know
About Lady and the Tramp
Parents need to know that Lady feels unloved when her owners have a baby. Lady is put in a muzzle by Aunt Sarah after she is falsely accused of making a mess, and she runs away from home after the incident. The Siamese cats may seem a little creepy to younger kids. Lady is caught by a dogcatcher. Dogs are in peril. A rat goes after a baby.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about Lady's concerns about the new baby, which are especially relevant to kids with new or expected siblings. They can also talk about how the story is told from the dogs' perspective, which may be confusing to younger kids who are just learning that not everyone sees the same things exactly the same way. Also, what did Lady and Tramp learn from each other? What do you think will happen to Lady and Tramp and their puppies next?

I rate this title on for age 10 and give itRomance?
Why do 5 year olds need romance? We wonder why we have all these teen pregnancies, we push romance on our kids way too early, it is in all the kid movies. It's not like that in other countries.
