Ideal for tweens and older girls, great mom movie
Sweet, adorable movie best suited for older girls (8/9+) and parents. Typical Disney fairy-tale sort of thing, with lots of adult themes. Dempsey is the dashing handsome reluctant hero, and Adams is sugary sweet princess in need.

Funny and Fun
This movie is great for a family to see together. Most younger boys would still enjoy it even though it is a cinderella type of movie.

Very cute
There is a little bit of innuendo in this movie, but the kids most likely won't catch onto it. It is a very cute movie, great for families to watch together. I actually enjoyed it, and I don't like movies like this often. A few places even made me laugh. There is not that much violence, but the witch is pretty scary at the end, especially for younger kids.

?
I didn't like the message that was sent to kids about dumping the person in your life on a whim.

So Cute!
This was such a cute movie. I also found it very funny. It was a riot seeing how this movie lampooned the premise of other Disney flicks. I didn't see any scene or issue that would prevent me from having my daughter watch it at any age. However, I think this movie would be best enjoyed by a child who was at least 4 or 5.

Awesome Movie!
This movie is wonderful. It has the typical cinderella type story line but involves a twist.

One of the best Disney Films in a long time
I took my 3 year old to the theater to see this and I was very satisfied. She is very much into computer animation so it kept her attention. As for me, I loved the subtle adult humor that maybe my daughter didn't understand. I understand that there were some tough issues like divorce brought up in this movie, but it is real life and still has a good message at the end. I would recommend this movie to anyone with or without children.

Cute and entertaining
My 5 year old daughter loved it, as well as my son (7). Begins with a cartoon (and ends - partly), has a few musical numbers, and is a lot of fun - typical Disney. I enjoyed it as well. The dragon at the end might be scary for 4 and under if they're sensitive, but my 5 year old didn't flinch.

Too many grown-ups issues for little ones
It is not rated G for a reason. This movie is very cute in some parts but raises too many questions too soon for young ones. Divorce, mom's running away from their little girls, homosexual comedy, sexual innuendos, etc. Maybe necessary if these things have/are sadly happening in someones family. Would not recommend.

I loved this movie and so did my kids, ages 3,5,7. We laughed so much and loved the music!! So cute! We need more cute movies like this one!

Too cute flick needs more pizazz
The thing about "Enchanted" was it didn't have much edge, which I guess kiddie comedies aren't supposed to. But it felt too safe to me. The fairy tale tie-ins are pretty funny.

Cute!
It's cute and it was a good twist to the princess movies because it included real people, and not just cartoons. My cousins and friends all liked it, their ages ranging from 7 to 31.

Too Much a Fairy Tail
Nothing to worry about, except the part with the shower was a little akward. Not, bad though. All my little cousins loved the princess part of it, but I thought it was a little too much like all the rest of the Disney Princess movies.

Fun
Lots of fun, but painfully sweet in the beginning, teens be warned! I was gagging into my hand for the first fifteen minutes, which is precisely the point. It was a little overwrought and the character of Giselle was painfully embarrassing (again, precisely the point). Despite the fact that I am not a fan of Patrick Dempsey, I really enjoyed Giselle's performance. (Didn't that actress get an Oscar nomination this year?) All in all, probably not going to be enjoyed by the teen crowd, but fun all the same. My little brother and sister were a little frightened by the dragon, but the (mild) innuendo went over their heads.

Good!
I think that this movie was pretty funny. Some of the scenes were more for little kids but they made me laugh anyway(ex:happy little working song) One thing I really don't get about the rating of this movie is why people said it was scary. This movie was not scary at all, and I'm a kid. I think that the parents that rated this movie(yes, I know that parents rate movies) think that kids get freaked out over nothing. Anyway, back to the movie, I liked it a lot!

Worst Movie of the Year! (That I've Seen
"Enchanted" is a bad movie. It's warm, fluffy, sentimental, and predictable. But what do you expect. It's "Disney". There are a few decent moments, Amy Adam's performance as Giselle, a fairy tale princess lost in manhatten, is pretty decent. The songs are fair, and "That's How You Know" is very good. But the ending is predictable, which is not always a bad thing, but here it is. Everything else, besides the things listed above, is rotten. Content wise: Nothing much bad, a little violence towards the end. Age recommendation: 8+ (But please consider "Ratatouille" or "Bridge to Terabithia" over this drivel.

Rip Off
I had very high expectations for this movie, and I was really let down. I guess it wasn't very bad, but because of all the publicity it got, I thought it would be much better.

Magical
This movie was amazing I honestly don't know anyone that didn't fall in love with it, all ages. And i personally think Giselle was a awesome role model she wasn't stupid she was just new in a world she had never been to before. She was posotive and always happy and showed eveyone that life is to short to waste it complaing. Which i think we should all be like!!!

It was OK
I think Giselle was an awful role model. She is kind of stupid, and she really emphasizes the whole "wait for your prince to rescue you" thing. The prince is extremely conceited, which can be funny at times but he gets annoying. If you like this kind of thing, watch it but I don't think it was that good.

MUCH better than I expected!
I heard that this movie was dumb, not funny, and a waste of time. Of course, I went to see it anyway; and I'm really glad I did! Now it's one of my favorite movies! I'm 15, and I love this because it's funny for me to watch, but my little brother and sister could watch with me! There were some really funny jokes, and the only thing I didn't like was that they went on and on about true love's kiss. I think they overdid that part in the beginning, but that's to be expected. It was great!

Awesome for both parents and kids!!!! ;)
I thought "Enchanted" was a Disney masterpiece. I usually don't like foofy-la-la movies, but this isn't one of those. Amy Adams was a totally innocent Giselle, and James Marsden (my hero!!!) was a daring Prince. Any sexual innuendo would go over children's heads, so I wouldn't worry about that. Giselle almost drinks an apple martini, but I wouldn't worry about that either. If you pay attention to details, you will notice they are purposefully similar to other Disney movies (i.e. Narissa turning into a dragon from "Sleeping Beauty") It's a great movie all around!!!

What a great movie
We usually see a movie with our kids on Valentines Day night (6yo boy & 8yo girl). We really weren't sure if there were any good/appropriate movies to see this year (not a great year so far for kids), but read the reviews for "Enchanted" on this website and decided to see it. What a great movie this was. My husband and I liked it, as well as our son. Halfway through, our daughter asked if we could "own this one":-) The sexual innuendos were soooo mild, I don't know if I would have even noticed them had it not been for some of the other reviews I read here. I thought this was great and we will being buying it on DVD when it's released.

Alright for young children, but a definite turn off for me
To tell you the truth, I only went to see this movie because of Patrick Dempsey, so I didn't have high expectations to begin with. The biggining, though probably appealing to toddlers, bored me half to death. It was about ten minutes of singing and poor animation, but once they got to New York things got better. Throughout the entire thing I found many holes in the plot, and annoying aspects, but it wasn't bad. By the end though, I found myself one again regretting it. The story goes completely off-track during the climax, and ends ridiculously and painfully predictably. Plus, all the stereotypical princess stuff would have made me gag even when I was five. It depends on the child but I don't really suggest you waste your money on it, even for the (amazing) Patrick Dempsey. I can't forsee this becoming any kind of classic in the years to come.
