What Parents Need to Know
About 3:10 to Yuma (2007)
Parents need to know that this Western stars Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, both of whom appeal to teens. A remake of the 1957 Glenn Ford film, the new version has upped the ante with plenty of shoot-outs and bloodshed for 21st-century audiences. But the bloody scenes are counterbalanced by a lot of conversation between the outlaw and his captors. One of the characters is a slightly rebellious teenager who, for the most part, is ashamed of his father. There's one brief love scene, one bar scene, and some language ("f--k" used a couple of times, plus "s--t," "bastard," and more).

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about remakes. Why does Hollywood like to remake (or "re-imagine") old films? Can you think of any remakes that ended up being better than the original? Families can also discuss the two main characters. Is Wade completely rotten? What makes him a "bad guy"?

When a movie is being made there is one common goal. To entertain us, this includes exciting us, making us happy, and liking the movie. In 3:1o to Yuma they sure entertain us! A brialliant movie showing the importance of doing whats right when the sacrifice might cause you your life. In this movie Ben Wade, a murderer and stage coach robber, is escorted by Christian bale to the 3:10 train to yuma! On the way Bale faces many difficulties at one point ben wade offers him to just give up and he'd give bale 1,000 cash dollars when bale maid only $2 a day. By the end of the story Wade and Bale become good friends , respecting eachother, Ben wade no longer fights back, but just lets himself be taken to the train. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!1 SPOILER When he gets Ben wade on the train, he is immediatle shit in the back 3 times, by one of Ben wades gang memebers, his right hand man, Charlie. Wade looks at all 7 of his men and puts his head down, they realize something is wrong and draw their guns, Wade takes his quickly, and swiftly and expertise shoots all 7 of his men, befor ethey have time to fire ine shot on him, he puts his gun down gets on the train. then Wade whistles, and his horse ry=uns up to the side of the train. The End!
